Today Cooper weighs 2770 grams, which is 6 lbs 1.7 oz! He has officially outgrown preemie outfits and diapers and now uses newborn sizes. There weren't many changes today. He is still having quite a bit of output in the Anderson tube, so no feeds yet. We're hoping by this weekend his Anderson output will have decreased and he will be able to have it removed and start eating.
He pooped with every diaper change today, except one. He was pretty fussy today and I think it's because he's working hard to put his newly repaired bowel to good use. We're hoping that his colon will grow quickly and that he will be more comfortable as he works to move things through his intestines. Cooper is still breathing on his own and doing well!
